OK I admit that this post is a total indulgence. When I lived and worked in New Jersey this was my best lunch and breakfast option, whether it was a breakfast sandwich, a club sandwich at lunch or a salad when I was on Atkins, Bagel Nosh supplied them all. I doubt any readers will make it there, but trust me, if you and I were driving this way I would drag you on a detour just because it has to be done.

Now those of you who know that I have a total antipathy to bagels will be pleased to know that they keep them in a cage at Bagel Nosh so there is no chance of them catching you unawares or sneaking up on you pretending that they are less dense than they really are.

But as always when I get to come here I select one of  their totally amazing club sandwiches, on this occasion the egg salad club sandwich which for a good reason to mess with the vegetarian mind I am happy to say that they slide in a couple of slices of crispy bacon.

It is really that good a sandwich that you should make the effort to divert here, if by some chance you are in the neighbourhood.

Also I have to say nothing I have had in either Chicago or New York gets close to this in my totally biased opinion.
